幸せになりたいですか？今すぐ！？もしそうなら、今日の福音でイエスは私たちに幸せへの道を示す8つの道標を与えてくださいます。この道標は山の上の説教と呼ばれています。私たちがよく歌う賛美歌の冒頭はこうです(典礼聖歌388番「ガリラヤの丘かおる丘で」)。「人々に話された、恵みのみ言葉を私にも聞かせてください」
こう祈りましょう「イエス様、どうか私の心の耳に「エッファタ（開け）」と唱えてください（マルコ７：３４）。
１)「心の貧しい人々は幸いである。天の国はその人たちのものである。」聖書では、「心の貧しい人」とは、謙虚に人間の弱さ（つまり貧しさ）を認め、神が喜んで与えてくださる力に頼ることを意味します。
２)「心の清い人々は幸いである。その人たちは神を見る。」これらのイエスの言葉の原文は、ギリシャ語で書かれた新約聖書に記されています。ギリシャ語で「純粋」を意味する言葉はKATHARUSです。これは「混じりけのない」という意味です。例えば、私は文鎮を2つ持っていますが、1つは銅と鉄が混ざったもので、もう1つは完全に鉄でできており、「純粋」です。イエスは、私たちが神に、私たちの思考、言葉、日々の行いのすべてを捧げれば幸せになると教えています。それは、賛美歌「イエス様が一番」で歌われる通りです。
イエスが用いた意味での「純粋」とは、祈りを通して神と繋がり続けることを意味します。私たちは毎日、イエスと一つになります。私たちは日々の生活におけるあらゆる思い・考え、言葉、行い、祈りだけでなく、普段の行い、そして人間関係までもイエスに捧げます。私たちは家庭生活、職場での仕事、家事、学校の勉強、余暇をイエスに捧げます。私たちの娯楽、テレビを見ること、スマートフォンを使うこと、つまり、私たちのすべてをイエスに捧げます。つまり、私たちは神であるイエスに、私たちのすべてを捧げるのです。それが純粋さ（KATHARUS）なのです。このように「純粋な」方法で日々の生活をイエスに委ねるなら、私たちは幸福を味わうことができます。今も、そして天国でも。
イエスが私たちに与えてくださった命の道は、祈りの時間や日曜日のためだけのものではありません。それは、お金を稼ぐこと、財産を持つこと、いつも物を買うこと、出世すること、良い評判を得ることといった世俗的な価値観と混ざることなく、イエスを人生の第一に置くことを意味します。
では、私たちのような弱い人間にとって「心の清さ」は可能なのでしょうか？それはイエスの助けによってのみ可能です。ですから、その助けを得るためには、イエスとの交わりを保つように祈らなければなりません。

Do you want to be happy? Now! If so, today Jesus gives us 8 sign-posts for a path to happiness. This guide is called the sermon on the mount. In the first vers of our popular hymn we pray singing: (#388): ”As the sweet breeze blows over the hill in Galilee”, Jesus spoke to the people. May I also hear those words of gift”
Let us pray: “O Jesus, please say over the ears of my heart Efefeta (Open).” (Mark 7:34)
1) “Happy are the poor in spirit. The kingdom of Heaven is theirs. In the Bible: “Poor in spirit” means humbly acknowledging our human weakness (that is our poverty) and relying on the strength that God so gladly gives us.
2) “Happy are the pure in heart. They shall see God.” These words of Jesus are given to us in the original New Testament which was written in Greek. The word for ‘pure’ in Greek is KATHARUS. It means ‘unmixed’. For example: I have two paper-weight. One is made of iron mixed with copper, the other is totally iron, it is ‘pure’. Jesus tells us that we will be happy if we offer our whole self to God- our thoughts, words and daily actions. It is as we sing in the hymn “Jesus is number one.”
To be ‘pure’ in the sense that Jesus used the word means keeping in contact with God in prayer. Every day we unite ourselves with Jesus. We offer Jesus every thought, word and action of our daily life- our prayer, but also our ordinary everyday actions- and human relationship. We give Jesus our family life, and our work in our workplace. We give Jesus house-work, school study, our retirement. We give Jesus our recreation- our TV watching, the use of our smartphone. In a word, we give Jesus, our God, everything that we are. THAT IS PURITY (KATHARUS). If we hand over our daily life to Jesus in this ‘unmixed’ way, we will taste happiness. Now and in Heaven.
The path of life that Jesus has given us is not just for times of prayer and Sundays. It means we put Jesus as number one in our lives, not mixed with worldly values such as making money, having possesions, always buying things, getting on in life or having a good name.
So, is being ‘pure in heart’ possible far us weak humans? If is possible only with the help of Jesus. So we must pray to keep in contact with Jesus to get that help.
Happy are the pure in heart for they shall see God.
